Dress is silk faille and is a dropped waist ballgown
I made that fancy version first (although with pre-washing the silk, it downgrades it to fancy-or-casual as it can now be machine washed!) and then I went for a sweet little casual gingham cotton version
I was able to drape my design directly on the dress form
FABRIC The fabric is a light weight Poly Crepe
And, boy, oh boy, did this turn out exactly that
