It doesnt see much play in Standard at present as its a bit slow, but that could change with the release of Innistrad: Crimson Vow or Kamigawa

And thats why we dont play double colored spells - well need something like 6-8 more lands to consistently get our colors or play City of Brass and suffer in 50% or more of the games
