Before the set went on sale, it had seemed doubtful that any card could beat the Special Illustration Rare version of the Mega Gardevoir ex for the top spot, least of all a gold card
(It's been over a decade since I worked in QA, but you can't ever really turn it off.) Then one of my absolute favorite things happened
